Our Wellbeing workshops will be hosted by Carley McGauran.
Our wellbeing workshops will be hosted by Carley McGauran.
Carley is a psychologist who has worked with children, young people and adults for the past 15 years in a variety of settings including government, community, education and the private sector. Over the years she has developed a sound understanding of the challenges facing families and the educators working to support families:
- Stress Management
- Family Breakdown
- Behavioural Issues
- Social Issues
- Grief and Loss
- Cyber Safety
- Struggles with Routine
- Relationship Issues
- Parenting Difficulties
- Substance Abuse
- Family Violence
- and Trauma Issues
She feels strongly that children, young people, parents and educators (all of us!) all do what we do as a way of coping with our life situation. In understanding what makes ourselves 'tick' and what makes our children 'tick' is the most powerful tool for change. Carley's biggest role however is mother of her three active children!
