Carley McGauran is a psychologist who has worked with children, young people and adults for th past 15 years in a variety of settings including Government, Community, Education and the Private Sector. Over the years she has developed a sound understanding of the challenges facing families and the educators working to supports families.

Over the past 10 years Sonya has had the unique opportunity to work in and observe many primary schools and to use resources within classrooms. As a result she has developed the necessary skills to analyse and recommend relevant resources that suit the specific needs of teachers; be it literacy, numeracy, HASS or otherwise

Having completed the Read Write Inc, Phonics training Sonya has developed a professional and personal interest in phonics. She believes that phonics is the starting point for  developing literacy skills in schools and with the right technique and resources all children can have success. Not only that, she is putting what she knows into practice with her four year old daughter.
