Booklist services for back to school


How do I purchase my booklist requirements?

The most efficient method is to use the pre-packed booklist and school collection service.

This service can only be used if orders are submitted by the due date which is on the front page of the booklist.


What payment options are available for booklist school collection?

If ordering online, you are able to pay by Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards.

Booklist orders can also be submitted in hard copy to your school.

Credit cards will be charged when the order is submitted.

Payment can also be made at the school collection. Cash, Visa & Mastercard will be accepted.

Personal cheques will not be accepted.

Cheques from Welfare Agencies are accepted by prior arrangement.


Australia Post cheques or Debit Card are accepted and can be purchased from Australia Post outlets.


What happens if I cannot attend on the specified school collection date?

A nominated relative or family friend can be authorized to pick up the order on your behalf.

Alternatively, if the order has been prepaid, it can be left at the school by prior arrangement with the school.


How do I place online orders for siblings?

Each online order must be placed separately for each sibling.

If you have selected ‘Home Delivery’, delivery charges are per booklist.


How do I obtain the online ordering code for my booklist?

It can be found on the front cover of your booklist.


Do you have a delivery service?

An order delivery service is available at a cost of $12.95 per booklist order.

Delivery will be made via Australia Post receipted delivery or in some instances by a Link staff member.

If no one is able to sign for the delivery, an Australia Post card will be left and you can collect your order from the nominated Post Office.

You will be contacted by a Link staff member prior to delivery.

Orders placed can usually be supplied within a 10 working day turnaround where stock is available.

Any stock which is not available at time of despatch will be backordered and posted as soon as it becomes available.


Link Bookshop Collection Service

Complete your booklist and leave it at the Link shop for picking and packing.

A processing fee of $5.95 is payable and a deposit of $50.00 is required.

Orders placed can usually be supplied within a 10 working day turnaround where stock is available.

Any stock which is not available at time of collection will be backordered and you will be advised when it becomes available for collection.


Does Link Bookshop have Self Service?

Come into the shop and select your items by referring to the bin location on your booklist.


Can I place a Booklist Order over the telephone?

The most efficient method to place a booklist order is online.

Alternatively, please call our Customer Service Representatives for assistance on (03) 9807 5422.


How do I check on the status of my order?

You will be contacted by email or phone as each item of your order is received.


I am having difficulty making contact by telephone?

The December/January period can be extremely busy and we will attend to your call as soon as possible.

When will I receive my backorder?

For pre-packed school collection orders, backorders will either be supplied to the school or delivered to the address submitted on your order.

Link will keep the school informed of backorder status.

For home delivery orders, backorders will be despatched as soon as the stock is received.

For shop collect orders, you will be notified by email or phone as each item becomes available for collection.


Do you sell second hand books?

No, we do not sell second hand books.


Does Link carry textbooks and stationery for all schools?

Yes. Link carries a comprehensive range of Primary and Secondary textbooks which comply with the Australian Curriculum plus a wide range of stationery items.
